WMA Pheobe

ARI# 31361842   D.O.B. 7/31/2008  (11 yrs)

Suri, Female, Proven | Bay Black

3/4 Peruvian, 1/4 Bolivian
Sire: Senor Peruvian Protocol | ARI# 821662  | Medium Brown
Dam: Penelope Jax | ARI# 833540  | White
Service Sire: XTR'S RON RICO
| ARI# 31682589  | True Black

Pheobe, whose sire is Senor Peruvian Protocol, was born a gorgeous med/dark brown and has developed into a lustrous bay black. She has really nice, dense fiber with excellent coverage. After shearing May 2010, Pheobe's regrowth has wavy, silky locks that just beam with luster. The handle is cool and slick.

She was showing definite signs of being ready to breed, so we've chosen our full Accoyo herdsire, USA's Accoyo Santana for her. We think the combination will be outstanding! Pheobe has become a great asset to our breeding program since she is unrelated to many of the larger populated bloodlines. In addition to her easy-going personality, she has a fantastic handle to her fleece. Another favorite gal in our herd. Update 10-3-11: Sadly, we lost Pheobe's cria this past weekend. Since it is so late in the season, we have chosen to wait until spring to rebreed Pheobe. (After several unsuccessful attempts to rebreed Pheobe, we would sell her as a non-breeder).
